    Symbols? (for art project)

    Hiya folks! I'm currently working on an art project, and I chose to involve ravens!

    My question: what are the correct symbols to use for Huginn and Muninn? I'm using the hagalaz and mannaz runes, respectively, to represent each. But are those the right things to label them with? Should I stick to just writing out their names?

    Thanks in advance!

    You would be best to write them in the Elder Futhark Runes than use singular runes to represent them. Sadly, there are no real "symbols" that represent Odin's Ravens. As such, for the Elder Futhark, just remember, when writing words, you do not need to use repeated letters. So for Huginn and Muninn, you would write Hugin and Munin. Only one Nauthiz rune will be required for each.
    "In the shade now tall forms are advancing,
    And their wan hands like snowflakes in the moonlight are gleaming;
    They beckon, they whisper, 'Oh! strong armed in valor,
    The pale guests await thee - mead foams in Valhalla.'"
