I'm reading the book The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun by JRR Tolkien, and it's a modern treatment of the Volsunga Saga. Are there any more modern treatments of Icelandic sagas?

Re: Suggestions
I don't know of any modern treatments of Icelandic Sagas but I remember really enjoying Grendel by John Gardner, which is a reimagining of the Beowulf story from Grendel's POV. I wasn't Heathen when I read it; it'd be interesting to go back and re-read. Now where did I put it...* * *
