    Forbidden Faith

What would you do if your tradition was made illegal? If soceity as a whole (government and non) made an attempt to stamp it out?

I would gather up like-minded people and try to change society.

I'd hide it away from everyone. A bit reminds me of Judaism during the Roman Empire. I already hide it more or less so I won't have any trouble hiding it in the future.

This is a VERY hard question, mainly because this has happened in the past to different groups. Do you deny your belief and only speak of it when in the company of others like minded.

One must remember that people have died for their beliefs and Governments have killed because of them..resent in China this has happened.

Not talk about it in public or display it in public, same as all the other illegal stuff I do.
Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

Probably treat it like I do being part of the BDSM scene--don't talk about to people who aren't like minded or I think have no reason to know. It's no one's business what I do in my free time.

If I thought society could readily ID what I believe and define it in a manner that could be targeted then I'd put effort into finding a new society. They can't and I'm not interested in helping them.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

              Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

From my experience of already having people try to kill me over my religious choices-carry on as I already do. Telling society to go to hell in a glass car, and just not talk about it as much as I normally would

The god I follow is not even traditionally considered a god barring a specific form of Hindu syncretism, plus I am not public about it (to my family and people who know me I am still agnostic) so in practice nothing would change.

Depends on how they did it. Jail time for having a certain religion? Just keep going as I do now, secretive... also banning my religion is hard. I don't even know what my religion is.
For example killing everone not of a certain religion, I'd go down kicking and screaming.

Liber AL, 2:9 - "Remember all ye that existence is pure joy; that all the sorrows are but as shadows; they pass and are done; but there is that which remains."

I have to draw inspiration from Karl Germer, who attained Knowledge and Conversation with his Holy Guardian Angel from a Nazi concentration camp. Being shot at or locked up is no excuse to stop practicing the Will you were put on Earth to perform! Ritual works just as well in a prison as it does anywhere else.
