I'm V. I'm a geologist (or as close to it as I can get right now) and I'm working in the Canadian Arctic in a gold mining camp. I'm actually from BC, you know, where all the cool Canadians come from. I've identified as some kind of pagan for the last 10 years, but recently, I'm wondering if it's actually for me. It doesn't seem right to call myself something I don't particularly believe in anymore. (magic, gods, crystals...meh) So, for now, I'm just a human. I've been looking into eastern religions, particularly Zen Buddhism, and we'll see how it goes once I learn a bit more about it. I rather like the idea of a faith that is practice-based (that practice being zazen, or meditation) ...anyhow, my lack of faith, and my work situation are why I've been so silent lately.
