Traits of God's and Goddess's

This crossed my mind while concidering how these Dieties are viewed. It seems we embue our God's and Goddess's with many negitive human traits. This is not an attack on any belief's but more a chance for discussion
of why it is we see these negitive(in humans) traits attributed to our God's(goddess's)

There could be many different reasons depending on how one views Deities... Many pagans don't see the Gods as perfect beings, so their having flaws would make sense. For some, the idea that Gods have both positive and negative traits makes them more balanced. Or more approachable, or even more understandable. Perhaps for the same reasons we give them positive human traits...

The question is rather why we see any human traits at all in the gods. Thal addressed it in another thread: we tend to anthropomorphize things so we can better understand it.
