Are there any Magyar Pogány (Hungarian Pagans) here?
Are there any Magyar Pogány (Hungarian Pagans) here?
Just out of curiosity. I've been looking into this for several years now and the information on the net outside of Hungary is sketchy at best. I just wondered if we had any real, live, practicing
Encyclopedia Mythica is the premier encyclopedia on mythology, folklore, and religion. Instant mythology since 1995.
The problem is, I can't find any decent sources to substantiate the mythology claimed by these online sources. I suspect most are in Hungarian. If you find any good ones, I would be very interested. I'm particularly interested in the Hungarian mythology referring to three sons who govern the copper, silver, and gold kingdoms, because this motif is found in Slavic fairy tales. If anyone could verify this as a real Hungarian myth, I would appreciate it.
If you want to be thought intelligent, just agree with everyone.
