In my opinion there are very few places that actually serve good pizza. When I am in the mood for pizza I usually make it myself. I use a bread dough (sourdough) crust, a well seasoned tomato base, three layers of different cheeses and then the toppings of choice at the time. The last pizza I made I used a layer of Parmesan cheese over the tomato base, a layer of spicy country sausage (hot), a layer of Mozzarella, a layer of ground beef, a layer of cheddar, and a layer of pepperoni. All the meats are pre-cooked and drained of fat before being placed on the pizza. When mixing the sourdough I add a table spoon of coarse black pepper to it and after it has risen once I kneed in crushed garlic and roll it out to about 1/4 inch. Place it in the pan (cookie sheet), brush it with olive oil, and let it rise again. then I put the sauce on and the toppings. In a standard cookie sheet the finished pizza weighs about four pounds. The crust is crisp on the outside and soft in the middle and has a great bite. We usually have left overs from a single pan even with three of us eating.
If you want a crispy crust you can bake the crust for 5 to 7 minutes before adding the sauce and toppings but I prefer the taste of the bread.

That cheese is an addictive little snack...I admit,I am hooked on it.(I did read somewhere it really is addictive,go figure)

Using the Yale Food Addiction Scale, designed to measure a person's dependence on, scientists found that cheese is particularly potent because it contains casein. The substance, which is present in all dairy products, can trigger the brain's opioid receptors which are linked to addiction.Dec 18, 2015

I don't think I can go vegan.. though we have a whole vegan line but I think I am going to go back to meatless mondays. I am way more conscientious about my snacking and so forth if I'm going meatless. I also did a no carb after lunch. That was freaking hard as I love carbs.

Thanks WrachDrui. I tried a salt water rinse, well actually 2 on Friday before I saw the Dentist on Friday. They hurt the mass on my mouth really bad. Thanks for the suggestion though. The mass is starting to go away, though very slowly. It is affecting my left side of my mouth (which is where it is at) and is making my teeth hurt. Got to apply Orajel to the gums and teeth to numb it. Ugh. Thanks again.

If you want to save time eating a mango just cut it in half like this:

http://www.mangojazan.com/store/image/cache/data/hindi-746x746.jpg

And then use a spoon to eat the flesh in one half, and then you can eat the flesh off the stone (or whatever it's called) pull it out and eat the other half.

Warning: It's very messy, but way more fun!

If you crisp up the turkey bacon it's good. It's not bacon. But it works with the meaty crunch in your mouth. More importantly it's only 70 cal and only 5g of fat. My whole breakfast worked out to be 231 cal and only 9 grams of fat and 15 grams of protein. Surprisingly it did get me feeling full through lunch. I've never made bread before. I should dabble.

sourdough bread takes some work. But bread made with yeast is easy peasy. The main ingredient in bread is time, and I think that's what intimidates people. But honestly, mix flour, water, yeast together (or whatever other ingredients), knead it, let it sit, pound it down, let it rise, shape the loaf, bake it.

It's easy and delicious!
