Texas Republican Pete Sessions, of the House Committe on Oversite and Government Reform, has introduced H.Res.642 - Recognizing magic* as a rare and valuable art form and national treasure, (https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-resolution/642/text?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22%5C%22hres642%5C%22 %22%5D%7D&resultIndex=1) because, you know, there is no actual work to be done in oversite and government reform.

*By the way - that's sleigh-of-the-hand magic, which politicos understand, not juju magic that would loose them elections if they called it good.

So,it is magic as stage magicians do it. Prestidigitation,as an art form. I knew a few stage magic guys when younger. Yes it can be an art form...but making it a resolution?

Perhaps there are more pressing matters to attend to.

How rare can it be, when there are magic shows all over the place? On TV and otherwise?
