    Heathen Tattoo

    So got ideas on a half sleeve coming through, but thought I'd post in here, get some opinions etc. I don't want to get this permanently inked on my skin and have other heathens be like 'wtf is that' or 'youve buggered that up'. I'm pretty sure I'm all good, but a second opinion is a good idea I think. Plus I have one or two elements I can't nail down on.

    So, idea is a valkyrie, wearing a winged helmet with an aegishjalmur on it, two ravens facing the same direction has her.
    Yggdrasil in the background, filling up a bunch of my arm, with the Nornir in the roots.
    I also want a Mjolnir in it, and something for Loki. Dunno where to put the Mjolnir in the sketch, and not sure what to put for Loki, but pretty sure he'll get jealous if I don't include him.

    I'll post some photo ideas if people are keen to have a look/give a hand.

    Yes, post some photo or sketch ideas, please.

            Makes me laugh and laugh,because My flashbacks are the real deal....there is a back to be flashed( figure out the proper english construction)

                        Ive thought of fire for Loki, or a friend suggested a serpent, but I thought that might confuse with the wyrm

                          I wouldn't put a serpent for Loki. 'Cos you know... serpent venom dripping on his head until Ragnarok and all that.

                          I don't work with Loki, so I don't really know what sorts of symbols he would like, I just wouldn't be inclined to put a snake. And yes, a snake anywhere near an Yggdrasil could easily be taken to represent Nidhogg rather than anything else. Loki has taken all sorts of forms though... a horse, a salmon and a seal just to name a few of his prominent forms.

                          Sounds like a nice tattoo. A slightly eclectic mix of symbols in there, but if they are all significant to you and represent things that are integral to your practice and belief then go for it

                            Exactly! No snakes/serpents. Its hella confusing to people who know shit.

                            I haven't ever worked personally with Loki. But I know hed be jealous. Fire is my usual connection i guess, but how?! Lol.
