    Rituals in Small Spaces

    Hey y'all.
    I'm having some trouble with my rituals recently. Y'see, I've recently moved due to financial issues, but due to limited rent budget, my room (the only place I can perform rituals,as I live with my mother) is tiny. This is a problem for me as I am very used to making large, sweeping movements during ritual, and I'm having trouble adapting.
    Just to head off the inevitable question of "Why not try doing your rituals outside?", I'd love to, but would not feel secure in doing so as we are in a highly conservative town, and I can't imagine it would go well if someone stumbled across me, notably considering me and my mother are fairly well known as she works for a local evangelical church.

    Tl;Dr version: any advice on adapting to having a small space for rituals would be extremely appreciated.

    If you really can't find anywhere private, then there's not really much to do but adjust your ritual work or adjust your practice routine. What kind of rituals are you talking about exactly?

    You can also perform them mentally, but my understanding is that generally speaking, that shifts the effects further towards the mental level and away from the astral/etheric level, which might reduce the effectiveness. But it's hard to say without knowing what rituals you're performing.

      Is there an easily available source discussing this effect in greater depth? I want to look at some details regarding it and I may want to pass some information on to a family member.

        This may not be an option depending on your transportation/time/location circumstances, but I'll throw it out there anyway.

        Weekend camping trips? Driving out a ways for a day-trip somewhere out of town?

        It probably wouldn't be something you'd want to do every other day, but depending on how often you use those practices that require space (or if you're comfortable saving commuting for special occasions), it may be something to ponder.

          I live with my parents due to health issues. When I perform my rituals I use my bookcase for an altar. My room is small too. You just have to find creative ways. Ljubezen has some great ideas.
