Aww, I started a trend.

I'll go! Lithomancy, since it seems cool and I don't understand how it works in the slightest. And I'm a geologist with a job-related question, so maybe the rocks will tell me what to do.

My issue is this: I've been applying for work (in the field of geology) for MONTHS now, and I haven't found anything. What should I be doing differently in order to acquire a job?

Lithomancy (gawd I hope I spelled that right). General question.

What do I need to do, or change, to stop landing these jobs that always follow the same pattern of using, abusing, and discarding. Basically the last 4 jobs I've had they've basically trained me in for higher positions, given me the responsibility, but never given me the actual title or the pay/benefits that go with it. If you can find any hints as to why that is or how I can change that...
