Well, it's like "are you a satanist" without the inherent assumption that sacrifice goats and eat kids (ok. Maybe that's an overstatement). People just try to give you a label that they (think) they know what is. Personally I haven't met anyone who knew of druids as anything exciting outside of WoW.

I'm not either of those things but in the last few years whenever someone asks about my faith, they ask: Are you a Druid?

I get that asking the general public to pin down my exact path based solely on appearance would be hard for Sherlock, but since when is' Druid' the go-to word?
