Not to be rude but I remember growing up in the ?80s? maybe, and watching a movie with him, where reporters were trying to save a man on death row from execution. Gods it was funny.

Senator McCain was what I call a "real" Republican - I didn't always agree with everything he said, but he had honor & dignity. I wish he hadn't chosen Palin as his running mate, but I thought at the time he didn't realize exactly what he'd gotten into with her until it was too late.

Now, I said above that Aretha & Elvis passed on the same date. Well, John McCain passed on the same date (and from the same disease) as Ted Kennedy (2009). Kinda interesting!
