I can not remember the last time I watched a movie that didn't leave the ending up to interpretation - no closure - no tidying up the loose ends - no happily ever afters - 30 years ago these arthouse approaches to ambiguous endings were clever - brilliant - genius - now it's just a cop out - unoriginal - uninspired - and quite predictable
