    As I get older...

    When I was young, older people always seemed very old fashioned and stuck in their ways, for example, 'Children should be seen and not heard' , 'Listen to your elders/betters' and all that sort of thing.

    In the UK, older people have even been blamed for voting for Brexit (leaving the European Union.)

    But as I get older, I'm just getting madder and madder. Give me a red flag and a barricade, somebody, and I'll be there!

    Has anyone else noticed this?

    yes on the 19th of this month i will be 72,and seem to have become more radical in many ways. much more open to exploring alternative approaches to things and changing paths,other roads beckon me.

          I think you're just good people that actually care about more than your own comfort ^^ the close mindedness often comes from am inability to look further than your own needs.

            Back to topic: Like everything in the universe, times has the ability to change things. From Landscapes to ecosystems, to the inner workings of the mind. Experiences shape and modify our mindset throughout our whole life. I wouldn't go as far as to say we're mere reflections of our surroundings, but it definitely plays a part of influence on our free will.
