This week I started my Jardiance. I will be and have been drinking 1.5 liters of water daily. I will also be adding 1 low sugar greek yogurt for my work snack. I am hoping this will stave off any uti (water) and any yeast infections (probiotics).

* note to self. Don't do the banana/strawberry one again. It's all real fruit, but the nanas make it look like baby poop!

Tomorrow I also start my 12 week 50,000 iu of D3 *the good kind and not D2. My pharmacist said to take it with calcium, and thus I have added a calcium pill.

I have also started adding B12 (people who take Metformin tend to get depleted of B12. Plus energy would help. One energy please!

And finally I am adding 1 tablespoon of unflitered apple cider vinegar to 1 cup of water and a packet of Splenda with my meals. Research shows this has helped significanly lower blood glucose levels after meals. The vinegar slows down the absorption rate of the carbs. And also it keeps fasting numbers at bedtime in check.

I also found an on-line website that let's me track my glucose numbers. I can then download for dr visits. I also added a little notepad to my Diabetic kit to track numbers daily. And then I only need to go on the site to download my results once a week.

So recap:
Jardiance...water and yogurt
D3 once a week with calcium pills
v1 tablespoon of vinegar and water and Splenda (they say this shows right away, so I'll know if I'm keeping this or ditching this tip.
blood glucose tracking.

am I missing anything?

Wish me luck!
