    Dungeons and Dragons, 5 edition

    Anyone play?

I'm apprehensive. I've been DM-ing 3.5 for like 11 years, so some things look vaguely familiar and some things look a bit slap-dash. I can't get behind a one-sided character sheet. What's that all about?
And the skills are all weird, and character backgrounds freak me out.

I dunno. First game is tomorrow afternoon and we're running through a pre-fab to see if we like it enough to continue. So I'm remaining tentatively optimistic,

Still, I wonder if any of your have any experience or opinions.
She is like a cat in the dark and then she is the darkness. ~~(=^._.^)

I got my war paint on and I'm off to go passive-aggressive all over these socially awkward man-witches. :XD:

I actually just started last month with the new 5E. Beyond that, my only experience of D&D is with Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment and Neverwinter Nights, all titles on the PC.

Its great. I'm a player in a 5e campaign, for the last year or so.

I love 5e and its simplicity.

      Mostly art.

I like the version 3.5 edition of Dungeon and Dragons. The 4th edition was terrible. I never tried the 5th edition though. What's the alignment of the 5th edition look like now?
