Our legal system needs a few changes. 3 young men have been cleared from rape charges, because it was deemed that the drunk, diabeitc, very ill and almost unconcious from lack of insulin, girl didn't explicitly say no. They got away because, and I quote (translated) 'she didn't stop them and therefore the boys must assume that she was willing.'. I'm furious.

That's disgusting.

My brain hurts. I need to do class today, but it hurts to think.

So two days off seems to have fixed my wrist. I was able to do my laundry today and use it freely.

I'm pretty sure it was me doing recovery cleaning of the aisles that night. I'm used to moving boxes around the shelves and some boxes are tiny but frigging heavy! I think I pulled a box forward with my fingers and that's when I did it.

So yay. But tomorrow at work I'm going to be careful anyways, just so I'm sure it's all done. Good thing is I'm mid shifting for the next two days. I can get away with ringing and just fiddle faddling and looking busy.

I had a pinched nerve once,it hurt,but it eased off after a while..You use your hands a lot sometimes you get that..I remember "stubbing"a finger once.like stubbing your toe...THAT FREAKING HURT!!

I have the carpal tunnel, so I sleep in wrist braces...it helps.

I'm supposed to sleep in snow boot torture contraptions for my plantar faciitus. But I decided to do foot stretches, not wear heels or flats and wear my inserts. Eff braces. I don't even like wearing a collar on my shirts.

Go with what works Duce...I have these kinda spandex gloves. I wear them if my hand joints start hurting. They do seem to help,cause pain can mess with my sleep.

Can't find a picture,but they are full gloves,no open end fingers..and light enough not to notice to much...good for sleeping. Actually kinda kinky looking..

Computer use actually doesn't bother it. I'm very ergonomic.

Its the crocheting...there's no truly good way to get around the wrist and elbow problems once you have them. I also have ulnar compression (think carpal tunnel for the elbow). I ended up with both while pregnant with Chickadee and they just never went away (pregnancy carpal tunnel is a thing).

Do you know of any? I have CT and the only one I know of is the one where you spread you fingers as far as you can, and open and close your hand that way.

Right now, feel like I have hot needles sticking into my brain.

Do you do any strengthening exercises for your CT and UC?

I used to, but the didn't really help. The only thing that ever truly helped was when I took TRX, but certain activities (like crocheting or too much Xbox) still bothered it.

Yard sale in full swing across the street. It's like a cult here. This is "city wide yard sale" weekend, and the locusts have descended. Back home people bragged about buying the most expensive thing at the highest end store - here they brag about buying used underwear for a quarter. Same coin (the bragging), diff. side.

Hope you guys do better with your feet/wrists etc. About 20 years ago, I had De Quervain's Syndrome in my left thumb from repetitive motion. Very painful & felt like it was ratcheting instead of moving normally. I got a shot of something in it and it's been OK since.

So could I get away with holding them at gun point and robbing them because I threatened to shoot them if they said anything? They didn't say no to me robbing them or holding them at gun point. Its the same idea right??.... stupid is what that is.

My poor Lexi. I let her out of the side yard to let her run in the front while I put my bike away. She won't run off the yard. She went right over to her sniffing the flowers spot and then I heard a yelp.
She ran to me and circled me a while and I gave her some head pats.
Then I saw the small succulent plant tipped over.

She's got to learn to not sniff the cactus!
