I'm thinking of competing in a Super Smash Bros. Tournament. In case you didn't know Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game in Nintendo. I need some advice. How can I become successful in winning a Super Smash Bros. Tournament?

Re: Competing In A Super Smash Bros. Tournament
Echo what Habbala said. Tons of practice vs live partners. The CPU won't give you the variety of action to react to. When you go to the tournament, avoid playing "friendlies" before the competition starts, or they will figure out your techniques. Also, when you do play friendlies, don't use characters you compete with use similar ones, but not the same ones. You should have at least 3 characters you are equally proficient with.
How does a 48 year old know this? I take my son to Smash Bros tournaments all the time.
