Got myself a Lee Load-All for my birthday last year ... Gonna start playing around with hand loads as soon as weather clears ... Maybe around June ... I wonder what I did with those flechettes ...

Lee loading equipment rocks! Good quality, and less than half the price of any other equipment.

Get yourself one of the Queen's Henry's, Magusjinx, and you'll need to load up "Fat Boys" for it - the .577/.450 is a monster cartridge - and, since they don't make 'em anymore, they run about $20 each from a specialty supplier. You can roll your own for about $2 each.

The SMLE .303's are nice to load for as well, although if you have your choice, the No. 1 is better quality - the No. 4 is pretty much the same gun, but it was redesigned to use stamped metal parts instead of milled parts. They needed to cheapen and speed production for WWII... (Australlia continued using the WWI No. 1 in WWII. The one I have is an interesting piece of history because the markings indicate it was used in WWI and then again in WWII, then , somehow, it ended up in a British arsenal in India, before coming to me in the U.S...

Have to dig a slit trench in the garden to use it. Nothing like black powder and peanut butter to satisfy a mouses appetite. Yes it works well, even lets you know when it's time (smoke) to reload it.

    1 custom made sword.
1 "survival" knife, alltho, it's more a tool than an actual weapon.
1 multi-tool pocket knife, used for tool purposes.

I have a list of 'No-Nos' for my husband.

No tanks, no cannons, no ballistae, no catapults, no rail guns, no trebuchets, no Tesla earthquake machines or death rays... basically nothing long-range that can be used to create havoc beyond the confines of the back yard. He'd be a supervillain if it wasn't for me keeping him in check.

Do you reckon he could build one on his side of the Atlantic and you build one on yours and maybe they could meet in the middle?

I had a list of No-Nos for Mr Penry once.... unfortunately he ignored most of them. Mind you, looking on the bright side, he hasn't actually asked for a death ray yet....
    But I'd never be surprised....
