Re: Whatcha thinking about now? (v2)

My church is a drama-fest. I feel like I need to take a break from church for a little while.

the chia seed choco pudding recipe .

I soak 1 tbsp to 1/4 of liquid. You got to stir it well to get the clumps out. Then let it sit. Then stir again. I've mixed mine all week with my oatmeal. It doubles it up. I'm doing this with first the coconut milk then I'll try the almond milk. I nixed the maple syrup for sugar free version. But I have all the other ingredients. I even got berries and unsweetened coconut flakes to top. And I picked up a keto friendly granola from Whole foods to also add some crunch. I'll report later with pics!

As an addendum to my new foodie experiments...I picked up some quinoa. I found a recipe for spanish rice quinoa. So even though it's carby, it's lower on the glycemix index so it won't spike me as much.

Thanks, I will give it a try. I stirred lots, but no luck. I will try heating it- I was using cold almond milk. It thickened a little, but over days. It tasted fine though.

I miss feeling important. I might as well not even be in a relationship.

I took a huge step out of my comfort zone and applied to a job that is both absolutely amazing in terms of what it is, but also terrifying because i feel while I feel qualified objectively, the mental health is telling me it's way out of my league.

Good on you Faye Cat!! After spending time watching other leaders around me, I'm absolutely convinced that higher paying jobs have a lot to do with posturing and making other people believe in their capabilities. I've seen a very smart, qualified person do a very good job and know they have felt like they aren't doing well when they are doing just as well as anyone else. Believe in yourself and others will too!

I went to my first Pagan Ritual tonight for the Autumn Equinox. I loved it there; everyone was friendly.

                            Ahh...

That is always unpleasant to watch. I've spent several years pounding my head into a wall watching that in family.

Finally got a new mattress for myself after having a mattress for over 10 years. I've forgotten what it feels to have a nice, firm mattress. It feels so nice. I had to resign from Teleperformance because of back issues. I had discussed about it back a few months, but since my back is really been hurting I knew that I wouldn't last long without getting a new mattress. I got a Tempurpedic and it rises up and down. It was expensive, but I got it financed for 6 years. I'm just glad to have a new mattress.

I'm heading out to camp out at a park not to far from where my program is located. I need 5 embalmings by December 2 and haven't gotten any yet. So, I'm going to go in, and hope I get a ton of calls over the next few days. I really need these embalmings. I don't know that I'll be able to complete to program if I don't get them in. I'm a bit nervous since it's likely to be coldish out (still in the 50s, but I camp in a hammock and that's cold, plus there may be some rain off and on), and this is the first time I've camped in this sort of weather.

I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.
