I met a guy in highschool who's name was pronounced "wee wang" (I'm not sure how it was spelled).

I could never help but giggle. Every time.

Hmmm... my best friend's middle name is Rumle, translates to rumple as in rumplestiltskin. He hates it. I love it.
You remind me of the babe

There's this thing going around here where we have a street named Couch. Half of the population here pronounces it like you would expect. As in the alternative version of Sofa. Couch. (Cow-tsh). However, we have part of the population here (and it's a mix of people who were born and raised here and transplants) to are adamant that it's prounoucned Cootch. Sorry, but... No. Spell it that way if it's supposed to be pronounced that way. XD

Bwahaha, a true soul sister, Thal.

I have two answers. The uplifting one is: go to the gym, listen to upbeat music, try and get outside, etc.

The real answer is: feed the pain demon with more sad and more pain, until my suffering is absolutely UNBEARABLE, my heart hurts, my stomach hurts, my body hurts...and then when I finally reach rock bottom (whatever that may be for the issue at hand), then I force myself to go to the gym, listen to upbeat music, get outside, etc.

I'd love to just skip all that pain and go to step 2, but it's just not in me.

Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

                            Well....

The quote is that misery shared is lessened...

                            So I share it...

Oh wait, you probably want the answer that does not involve adding souls to my pizza recipes.

Err, it depends, read a book, play a computer game, watch youtube videos, drive somewhere away from people that I'm obligated to interact with, go out to dinner, any combination of the above and other as yet unnamed options. I don't really have a set answer to this.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

                            Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Aslan, Prince Caspian by CS Lewis

I go look for dogs to pet. Spend time in nature. Write and draw. Practice cardistry. And listen to Marilyn Manson.
