Wash it with shampoo once a week and trim it by 2-3mm when it gets very out of hand.
Strange thing is my goatee was very long(bout 6cm.) when I was 14 . O_O

PS. Even though I'm quite pale IRL even when compared to other Finns, I'm not *that* pale really as in the picture.. xD
