I just started a short story anthology by Ursula K. LeGuin (one of my favorite authors). It's called Changing Planes. The first story - really a sort of introduction in prose form - was quite interesting. I can't wait to read some more.

I just finished Jean Plaidy's 'The Kings Secret Matter'. I really enjoy her books. And they've taught me more about tudor england than anything else. I think I'm going to have to get more.

Lucifer's Flood (Reluctant Demon Diaries) by Linda Brook. It's the diary of the demon who feel with Satan. My friend recommended it. She said it wasn't "bibley" but it kinda is but in an interesting way. There are four in the series. If this one keeps going well I will get the next one.

Did a google search on this..Had never heard of this idea of a pre adam thing to explain earth lifetime by creationists.

Interesting,but I tend to go with solid science generally,but everyone has their own beliefs..

I haven't read it, but I was looking at it before I went to the Nye book. I picked Nye because I've never read anything he's written but I've read a bit by Dawkins before.

If by 'a bit' you mean "The God Delusion," (which is what most people think of when Dawkins is mentioned) then all I can say is don't judge him by that particular work. I thought it was terribly written, even though I agreed with all his arguments at the time. His writing on science is infinitely more enjoyable and informative.

Sounds kind of like The Screwtape Letters, except for the reluctant part.

I finished the zombie book Plague of the Undead by Joe McKinney. And have now moved on to Dead City by the same author. Also about...you know the drill...zombies!

Every once in a while I look about and see with zombie infested eyes. It's pretty weird. You almost can't tell living people from the undead.

I've just read the entire "A Series of Unfortunate Events" series, and started on "Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World" by Haruki Murakami. Next up is "Key" by a buddy of mine in Australia named Kylie Leane !

Picked up an amazing old book (1922) on fortune telling tea leaves, by Cicely Kent, at my favourite used book store. Its a most interesting read so far.

Picked up an amazing old book (1922) on fortune telling tea leaves, by Cicely Kent, at my favourite used book store. Its a most interesting read so far.

I always loved browsing old used book stores,never know what you will run across.
