I've not finished it...I paused to read some fiction, but I probably have something highlighted on at least every other page so far. What Ikve read is interesting and well written.

Oooh man! I am constantly reading something, and I also read more than one book at a time mostly. Right now I'm reading five books. I'm reading True Magick: A Beginners Guide, Harry Potter Book Five, the first game of thrones book, A Practical Guide to Psychic Self Defense, and a book that my sister shared with me that is wonderful!

We are what we are. Nothing more, nothing less. There is good and evil among every kind of people. It's the evil among us who rule now. -Anne Bishop, Daughter of the Blood

I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.

                    So it's been a while.
First off, I am still listening to Robogenesis by Daniel H Wilson. It's just so emotional for me, I have to do it sparingly. I finished Mary Roach's 'Stiff: The curious lives of human cadavers. You can always read my quick review of it HERE.

And I just decided to pick up last night (and can't stop listening to) My life among the serial killers by Helen Morrison M.D. She's a profiler in serial killers.

:cthulhu: The Pagan Book of Living and dying -- Starhawk

:cthulhu: Dark Moon Mysteries -- Roderick

I'll get through at least 3 today, probably 4. Sometimes I find neat things on amazon that distract me from my other mass of projects... *shrugs* I can use the distraction right now.

Hellstrom's Hive, by Frank "Dune" Herbert.

One of the more troubling versions of collectivism vs. individualism I've read.

Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

Finally finished Robogenesis by Daniel H. Wilson! About dang time. And while we are at it I finished I am Legend. An amazing narrator for the audiobook. One of the best!

So now I'm currently listening to The Sleep Room by Frank Tallis. A story about a mental doctor who is the resident doctor at a psychiatric facility. They specialize in a treatment of having severe mentally ill patients sleep 21 hours a day in induced sleep. An interesting topic.
