Re: Whats everyone reading now or read lately

Finished up Zone One by Colson Whitehead. It was such a smart book that I am currently reading a thesis on it about its metaphors! I want to listen to it again! My review can be read HERE. Called my zombie at my thesaurus

And now a break from the zombie world. To something more...well who am I kidding? I'm now listening to 12.21 by Dustin Thomas. It's about the 2012 apocalypse, fatal familial insomnia disease and a bit of history detective work thrown in for good measure. Quite unique, I might add.

Finished Stephen King Goes to the Movies. Really great book of his short stories. Still reading Eisenhower. Going to start reading Seeds of Magick.

Just started "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers", by Sean Covey.

It looks to be a nice book to read before the next school year.

The Piercing Bible by Elayne Angel.

It seems to me as though the only suitable part of my anatomy for a successful piercing is my septum. Which I can't get because of my job. :P

I finished up 12.21 yesterday. A super fun and quick listen. Busted through it in about 2 days. Could NOT put it down! As always, you can read my quick review here called: It's the end of the world as we know it

And finally an audiobook I have been waiting for since last year. Finally the day has arrived! The Zealot by Reza Aslan. It's about the historical evidence of Jesus of Nazareth as opposed to Jesus the Christ. So far, I'm thoroughly enjoying this.

Does it have a stereo jack, something you could plug your mp3 player into & then use 'Auxillary' instead of trying to play the mp3s with the CD player?

                      Nope.

It has a 'media' button, but it doesnt work and theres no way to play any media.

Nope. I put everything from Overdrive to my mp3 player.
So finished up The Ghost Map: The Story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic - and How it Changed Science, Cities and the Modern World (yes that's the whole title!) by Steven Johnson. An awesome quick listen about the Cholera epidemic. Fun times!

Now listening to Adam by Ted Dekker. About a criminal mind's dude tracking down a serial killer! Oh you know..just light summer reading

I don't mind it, but I think the books are expensive.

Can't you burn the mp3 as an audio file? Or, is there some software to convert it to another type of file?
