    A question about Pagan Gods

I was just curious to know that if you worship a certain pagan god, will that god have some kind of plan for your life or does it allow for you to follow your own path and acheive what you want to acheive?

In a lot of cases, both.

Don't expect to see divinity authored marching orders for life but a Power may arrange for you to be in positions where it thinks you can learn something or occasionally toss problems that it wants solved at you.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

    Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Aslan, Prince Caspian by CS Lewis

        Ditto to MaskedOne.

It all kind of depends on you, your deity(ies) and your relationship with Them, Life, the Universe & Everything. Even if a deity points you in a certain direction doesn't mean you have to go. Of course, the deity/ies may make your life difficult, but it's still your life.

A deity may present certain options to you, but I don't think they usually interfere all that much, which has already been said more or less.
Of course, I think most pagans who worship Gods would agree that you tend to choose a deity who has the same expectations of you that you have of yourself.
If you want to be thought intelligent, just agree with everyone.

I guess it makes sense. I'm quite starting to like paganism even more now.

My Gods are friends to me, so of course I take their advice. They have theit goals just as I have mine, and as friends we can learn from each other, but we do not invade each other's freedom. Sure, they might point me in the right direction sometimes, but they certainly don't force me off my path onto a concrete road of their own making.

I believe the goal of my Guardians is to help me to refine myself and achieve my goals. If there is something that I want to do that maybe isn't the best idea, I sometimes will get a warning from them that I'm not making a wise decision. That being said, they can't force me to do anything--if I want to sit in my underwear watching YouTube all day, I will. They have my best interests in mind and when I am Doomed to get off my ass and do something, it's something that I need to be doing.

I absolutely agree that there are entities out there that have things other than your best interest in mind. While I don't believe in "good" or "evil" entities, per se, there are definitely some that I don't want in my life.
