My husband actually caught that segment on the news. When I got home from work, he said he agreed with me that only crazy people are running for president this year. I thought Palin had given up on the idea of being president, but ya never know.

I don't even hate her anymore. She's too obviously stupid and crazy to have any overwhelming support. while she does have support, I think she also alienates a lot of people. I don't think she helped McCain's campaign at all. She's just so ridiculous she's hilarious. Without her, we would have never gotten Tina Fey's impression of her on SNL. We would have never gotten the most laughable news soundbites ever. We'd be missing out.

I actually experienced minor panic attacks and laughter alternately while reading this article. Palin scares me, but I don't perceive her as a big threat so much as I am shocked by the fact that she actually represents a demographic that exists.

I don't know about simply moving, but apparently becoming a Canadian citizen takes years. My family looked it up the first time Bush Jr. was elected. :X
