I'd be interested in this, too...but with the holidays coming up, I won't have the energy to do this *and* the card swap, and keep on top of holiday stuff if we have to do more then one.

Is that who we have so far?

(It also might be worth mentioning that shipping is going to cost more out of the U.S.)

I am outside the US, but I'd be willing to have it shipped to an in-US friend or family member to save on shipping (also I knew I'd be paying to ship outside my country).

I'd like to play in this if it's ok being outside the USA, I'm in England. Would it just be the small standard size match boxes?

I'm in, depending on how many we're making... I could do a few, but I don't think I could manage eight or however many we have now.

I think it would be cool!

    somehow I missed this...

but if there are so many...what about doing it like a secret santa?

we can all send addresses to someone (not participating)who can then draw names from a hat and pm them their assigned person and address.
“You have never answered but you did not need to. If I stand at the ocean I can hear you with your thousand voices. Sometimes you shout, hilarious laughter that taunts all questions. Other nights you are silent as death, a mirror in which the stars show themselves. Then I think you want to tell me something, but you never do. Of course I know I have written letters to no-one. But what if I find a trident tomorrow?" ~~Letters to Poseidon, Cees Nooteboom

“We still carry this primal relationship to the Earth within our consciousness, even if we have long forgotten it. It is a primal recognition of the wonder, beauty, and divine nature of the Earth. It is a felt reverence for all that exists. Once we bring this foundational quality into our consciousness, we will be able to respond to our present man-made crisis from a place of balance, in which our actions will be grounded in an attitude of respect for all of life. This is the nature of real sustainability.”

they are pretty small though, I would think (having mailed odd things just to see if I could...like a paper towel post card) it wouldn't be that much more than a regular letter (depending on how heavy you made it...
