    My stress levels are climbing higher and higher. We just lost our Executive Chef Friday and I know she held everything together I just don't think we realized how much she held us together.. On top of loosing her they have refused to let us higher the people we need because hey you've made it work lets continue to make you make it work, and in a week and a half were going to loose another. We will have FIVE people to run a restaurant, an outlet, banquet needs, and lets not forget hotel guest. We are already sinking and I don't see a way of stopping it.
    This place is fucking cheap. Warning never ever ever work for a hotel company that is owned by a bank. Literally. All we ever hear is we don't have the budget for staff or tools or product but we can give bank employees a rate of a $150 a night while we charge $600-1800 a night to a regular no bank guest. Did I mention we have to guarantee 52% of our occupancy to bank guests. I try so hard to see the good side of things and I feel like we cannot get ahead. We are drowning but we can make it work another month before they hire a new Chef right??

            So... I had another cardiac infraction ... aka a Heart attack


            I do not know how much longer this heart is going to keep me alive.

            And I will say that it's PAINFUL to keep having this happen. A coronary is painful it's like breaking a bone only worse. It's a pain you feel in your soul.

            I must say, for those I have met here, that I talk to privately, you are amazing. You are people I wish I had as neighbors. Because you are GOOD PEOPLE. For the rest, you too are good people just not as good as those that have become what I call friend

                      I'm cold and shivery and I really need to get out of bed and get ready. I've been told I'm going to a party at my dad's friend's (who somehow became my friend too) place for her kids who are several years younger than me. Dad isn't going but I have to because I "don't get out of the house enough". I just want to go back under my covers where it's warm and there's no people.

                        You should get well first, then visit parties. Health is on the top of priorities. Heal soon, my friend

                          Someone told me my writing style is "quirky". I write how the words are thought in my head (and yes, I actually think parenthetically and with elipses--I feel like a cartoon with word bubbles in my brain sometimes).

                                When I'm seriously thinking parenthetically, with ellipses, I tend to forget what I was talking about.

                                It didn't use to be that way. Medications, age and certain herbal assistance have all conspired to make me think: Alzheimer's.
