Yeah... been there done that, got certified, and not doing it again... I don't know what he is planning on accomplishing, but I will not be getting sprayed again, short of pissing off a guy carrying OC... That is it...
I also swell up really bad the next day, eyes, sinuses, and all. It may be a way to get me out of a day of work, so they do not have to give me OT... but it shall not be occuring...

Taking this to Rants because I'm on a tangent & not being constructive to the conversation anymore...

I just think people need to get over the fact that some illnesses are sexually transmitted when there are just as many nasty things out there that are passed from hand-to-mouth. I'm always aware of just how filthy humans are because of working in a casino. Casinos are based around technology and entertainment that is hands-on. Every night when I use the restroom I see at least one woman per visit who comes out of a stall & walks out without washing her freaking hands. And those nasty women proceed to touch slot machines, chips, cards, stools at the bars, the decor, other people... People are suffering and dying from shame because they've contracted an 'STD' (and quite a few STDs can be spread through other means). People who don't wash their hands and then touch community property and spread noroviruses around are the ones who really need to be ashamed of themselves.

      Humans are gross.

I agree, but is it fair to say that we need to do everything possible to try to prevent STDs AND illness that are transmitted in other ways? If it means anything, I frown on people who don't wash their hands after using public restrooms just as much as I frown on people who aren't responsible with their sexual lives. To me, it feels like illness isn't 100% preventable, but we KNOW a lot of ways that help slow the transmission of diseases. It's our responsibility to both ourselves and other people to use that knowledge.

It's totally fair. I just can't wrap my head around how people think that chlamydia is somehow worse than e.coli, just because 'omg, chalmydia is an STD!'

I even keep fighting the urge to add the disclaimer of 'I've never had an STD, but...' to everything I've posted about them. I don't feel the need to do that when I'm bitching about the flu, so what's up with that?!

Did not have to get sprayed... not because my boss was being nice, but because I did not have a car in order to make it to said class and overtime.

To be hones, I think if you do something that spreads an E.Coli contamination, you're worse than someone who's spread Chlamydia. E.Coli is more likely to be fatal, and people die much more quickly from it.

Is it not also technically a fecal bacterium? Basically to spread it from your hands, you need to come into contact with it... then not wash.... yep, pretty bloody gross. A person has to make the concious decision that fecal matter is not worth washing their hands over. That is horrible even without the addition of the e. coli

My sister-in-law just said that it would be perfectly fine if she came over and killed my children because I said I am not against abortion. She said that if I am fine with an innocent unborn baby being killed, then I should be ok also with my two children being killed also. She said my kids who are already here are no different than an unborn child.

She better be so thankful that she didn't say that to me in person. I am not a violent person at all, but she would have probably received my fist in her face.

That... that is insanely moronic of her. Anyone who has studied neurology or fetal development at all knows that there is quite a big difference between a child and a few month old fetus. Hell, even if you haven't, it just seems like common sense.

Well, it's not always spread by human fecal matter. Aside from that, it could also be from not washing produce properly, or by not cooking meat properly (or by not processing meat properly in the first place). Either way, when it's spread, it's almost always through some oversight that could be very easily avoided.

You would think. She says a life is a life no matter what and that is all that matters. Then she said I need Jesus.

It's always the ones who say you need Jesus who need him the most. Seriously the people who have said that to me tend to have deplorable characters.

Oh she's a pretty nasty piece of work. And I'm not just saying that. The majority of my family don't like to be around her. It's all about her, her, her. And she'll let you know she thinks she comes first in everything.

My brother is an officer in the Navy and his superior was speaking to him at a big banquet in my brother's officer class's honor. My sister in law goes up to them and interrupts the superior, trying to drag him away to do something else. My brother told her not right now because his superior was speaking. She got pissed and yanked on him and said his name loudly. It embarrassed the ever living you know what out of him. He was not happy and let her have it after the banquet. She was pissed off at everyone for a long time after that.

What do you mean 'the latptop is at head office'? Screw that, I have like 6 questions left to do and I'll have finished the written sections of my diploma. What's worse, if I'd have known you'd deprive me of my diploma and access to my podcasts, I'd have brought a book or something. All I have left is to haunt pagan forum on my phone. Oh whatever.. I may as well do something useful like defrost the freezer...
