Instead of telling me I could be anything I wanted to be, or that I could do anything I wanted to do... why didn't y'all actually push me towards something I could do? Or maybe instead of focusing on my language skills, teach me some math?

It is OK to stop apologizing for being a "bad mom." You were a better mom than you could have been, and I forgave you your shortcommings (we share ALOT of them!) a long time ago.
