Yesterday I gave a girl who works at the check cashing place a Valentine's Day card. I told her not to open it until Valentine's Day. She was happy to see me and like it.

Cheating Amazon for the third time, getting a free Amazon prime trial by simply making a new email address, and getting free 2 day shipping on my huge order of various novelties. Very content.

I actually did the same thing with the Mc Donald's app. I probably ended up cheating them out of around $300 worth of food.

Being that winter is killing my dry skin, I've gotten back into the slug life. Aka vaseline for life!
I've finally figured out to get my make up to get that dewy skin look. At night I put my CeraVe moisturizer on and then a very thin layer of vaseline over that to lock it all in. And I repeat in the morning and then apply my makeup. My foundation goes on so smoothly now. Yay slugs!

Also my sugar was low today when I got home.

I got tired of craptastic work lunches. So I just meal prepped the next three days worth of chiliquilas, spanish rice and chorizo con papas. All in their own individual serving containers. Now I'm good to go! I feel great considering these meals cost less than $10 total!

Just two more sessions of radiotherapy left for my Husband to endure, 18 down...
Doesn't sound much, but it's 80 miles each way to the clinic, so that's a lot of travel just to get his treatments
"Fingers crossed" the next scan (due between now and March 23rd) shows it was worth it.

Today is 6 weeks since I had my last anxiety attack. May not seem like much, but to me it really is.

The best thing about being single and the ability to cook?
I meal prepped all my lunches for the next 5 days of work. Spaghetti and meat sauce.
Total cost:
1 pound ground burger $6
1 package noodles $1
1can diced tomatoes with basil and oregano $1.79
1 jar of sauce $1.99
grand total of $11. And for 6 meals. I packaged 3 today in containers and I have a jar left of sauce. I ended up stretching out my sauce because I added the juice of the canned stewed tomatoes!

Also purchased a container of fresh shredded Parmesan cheese. That stuff seriously makes a difference to the meal.
I'm also happy because I was able to portion control my meals because of the Diabeetus.

I find my own voice highly irritating (I know, everyone hates their own voice). So, being told that it's raspy and nice to listen to was a nice surprise.

I found out that when people heard me on-line, they said I sounded like Betty Boop. My voice is deceptively high I guess. Unless you get on my nerves. Then it's short and sorta growly hissy.
