    Needing Aid in Identifying a Gemstone Wand

    I had no idea where to place this thread, so pardon if it's in the wrong section;;;

    I bought this gemstone wand the other day, and I totally forgot to inquire on what gemstone it was. The shop is a good distance from my house, so I really do not want to drive out just to check what it is. It's been bothering me, as I can't stand to own something that I'm not sure of.

    A little aid in identifying it? Please and thank you!

    Pretty sure that's moss agate.

    ETA: Just checking the pic on my computer instead of my phone, and yeah, it's definitely moss agate.

    Mostly art.

          It looks like the dark soapstone we use in art class. If it's relatively soft thats my bet. Then again it's perfectly possible my art teacher is mistaken and it's moss agate but he just calls it soapstone.

            I wonder if it could be tree agate. I'm not a crystal expert whatsoever, but I was considering gemstone wands a while ago.

              It's definitely not soapstone or tree agate.
