          I just looked through my DVD collection to pick something for this evening. I'm gonna bypass 2 of my faves, Thirteen Days and The Sum Of All Fears. I can watch CNN for that. I chose The Russia House. (Yeah I know there's an apparent theme going on LOL but it's got Sean Connery & Michelle Pfeiffer and I haven't seen it in ages.) I watched I Am Sam the other day. Wish Dakota Fanning could have just stopped at that age! I like her now, but she was about the best child actress IMO.

            I am thinking about watching Casablanca,one of my all time favs and "to have and have not" I have a 4 movie set with "key largo","dark passage","The big sleep" and "to have and have not" all with both Bogie and Bacall.those two are favorite actors.

              Protests re: POTUS.

              I know people are sick of politics, but, this shyte is unfolding like a blockbuster film. Screw "reality tv" and watch reality on tv.

              Something is going to happen - it can go a lot of different ways, but something IS going to happen. I gotta see where this is all leading. You should check this out. It's facinating if you like drama.

                I usually steer away from politics, and I'm trying to stay optimistic with regards your new president, but the curruption is so obvious it's hard to look on the brightside. I guess the old political landscape wasn't working so maybe things are just getting worse before they can get better... but what if we really have forgotten the lessons of the past and are making the same old mistakes?

                You're right though, whatever happens it will be entertaining. So pass the popcorn my way please.

                  Been watching the anime Bleach on Netflix. Used to watch it when it came out. Now am too old to stay up past 12:00.

                    Quit honestly I am having a hard time with the whole "Transition" thing..How does this person now known as POTUS keep slicing through with this stuff.

                      I watched some of the Women's march coverage, and the Eclipse Awards (California Chrome got Horse of the Year!) and some of the figure skating Nationals. I did catch the Prez talking at the CIA, what an odd speech. He's still in campaign mode. And the Press Secretary dude looks like a suicide about to happen. Saturday Night Live in a few minutes.
