About an hour and a half ago, we had one of those weird booms from above here. NJ was reporting them last week. People heard if within about a 200 mile radius. Maybe my people are finally coming to take me home.....

I did read or see something about the faster than sound thing returning as a military thing,also faster travel. Something about damping down the shock wave so super sonic flights inside the US,without the big BOOM!!!!!!

I wish I could do my trips "back home" in less than the 12 hour door-to-door time it takes now! But, I guess that if these things become available in my lifetime, they'll be insanely expensive.

Day 6 of deathly illness. On the upside, my frostbite is finally healing, I've played almost a whole video game through, and I'm on my third Kurt Vonnegut novel. The downside...I'm off work for over a week without pay.
