A question about rituals involving the full moon.

    Hello.

From what I have learned, rituals that require a full moon can be done the day before, or the day of, or the day after a full moon. The question I have is, on the third day, when is the full moon officially over?

Truthfully I'd say it depends upon your own tradition and personal beliefs. I've seen a lot of people who would like to use the full moon but because of work, family or other commitments have to make it sooner or later than the calendar day.

I've heard something about how the power of the full moon lasts 3 days, but then theres 3 days before or after where you shouldn't do magic.... I dunno. I reckon thst was in some old wicca books.

      RIP

I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
      You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
      The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
      Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
      That everything was shit.

A full moon lasts 3 days. It starts at moonrise and ends at moonset OR once the waxing/waning starts, whichever comes first.
