It seems sad so many would suggest you be a groupy and follow your heart vice actually discovering your heart and in turn discovering just who it might have been that appeared in dream time.
That's really great advice! Encouraging you to really seek instead of having it laid in your lap. It's almost like a courtship

I'm inclined to go with the premise of extra research can't hurt you. You may well find that Bast has been making use of modern imagery or you may find that you're actually dealing with Mafdet but the time spent looking into both of them (and any other relevant figures) will not do you wrong. Extra information about your goddess and beings who appear like her is no bad thing regardless of which precise divinity is looking after you.

That or just ask for a name and see if you get an answer. Sometimes the simple ways work.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

      Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Re: I Think I Found Her

Thanks everyone for the advice. I definitely am going to try to contact her and ask her for her name. I want to know who she is. I am going to continue my research. Thank you all.
