I've recently become disabled because of medical bullshit, and I applied for disability (since the pain is so bad that I had to quit my job). I got accepted, and was told that I would get "back pay" from the time I applied until last month.
I got that back pay today, and it's the largest amount of money I've ever had at once. I am deeply grateful for it--now I can pay off bills and people I owe, as well as giving my mom some for helping and housing me for over a year now. Thank you to the entities I work with, and the universe in general. I really needed this.
