    Praying like crazy. I'll go pick up another candle tomorrow and do some sort of ritual. Anything I can.

        I can't be, but I've got every candle in the house lit, and my altar ablaze with healing candles and incense. It's the best I got.

                I'll be hoping and praying for Chain, that stuff is rough but Chain is tough as hell so I have confidence.

                      I just wanted to say I've been keeping candles lit almost constantly for the past 3 days, and have been watching this thread. I just don't really know what to say. Chain has been here... forever. And I can't imagine a forum without him. I'm just hoping for healing and the best possible outcome.

                      But both Chain and his family are in my thoughts.

                        Hey all, I know it's been a while. I got the FB message about Chain's condition, too. Didn't log on in time to see the above, but lighting a candle here as well.

                        I feel really bad that I had no idea he was so sick.

                          Shortly after I posted this I lit a candle and an incense and started praying. After I prayed I came and sat back down and the smoke from the incense gravitated toward me. My border collie Brexton who has never taken a notice to smoke of an incense before is following this one, he keeps staring over by the book case as if there is someone there. I take this as a good omen. I might have missed the big gathering but I think the Goddess and God are with me and hear my words.

                            8 pm Pacific is way too late for me (even on a Friday night)...but I'm getting my stuff together for sunrise at the beach-to-high tide.

                                It's OK if people missed the 8pm window. It doesn't make anyone's prayers work less of they didn't do it at 8pm. I just figured having something at a specific time might help focus the energy a little. I didn't chose 8pm because of any special time frame, planet alignment or weather situation. It was just the time of day I was finally done running around with my after-work-errands and had room and quiet to do the ceremony.
                                As I said before, anything helps. No matter what time or method people choose. Please, do not apologize for missing the window. Just pitch in however you're comfortable with helping.
