When someone asks for money, do you give it to him/her?
If I can spare it and sometimes even if I can't spare it I will give. I have also been the person who has had to ask for it. I have a lot of pride and hold myself to a higher standard asking for financial help is extremely hard for me.

When someone asks for money, do you give it to him/her?
When strangers have asked me I say no. Some guy was asking for a quarter to make a phone call. Yeah, no.
But I do get a few of my co-workers who have asked. Like a dollar to catch the bus. Or to get something to eat for lunch. I know they were having hard times so no worries. I also usually buy them drinks when I send them next door to get me my diet dr pepper (when I'm the only manager on duty, we aren't allowed to leave the stores. So I feel weird asking them to get me a drink and not offer to buy)
What hot topic usually turns into an argument with you?
Politics, Economics, Religion and Philosophy in general. I tend to have some rather unorthodox views for both political opponents and those people who I SHOULD get along with ideologically. So to put it bluntly, I don't get along with most people in regards to political beliefs and ideology.

Only if they are a friend or a fellow worker, and even then if they fail to pay me back, and trust me I tell them if they have to when I give them the money, then I don't do it again.

If I have coins in my pocket I'll give to homeless people who ask nicely, though I'd rater buy them a meal or a coffee if I have the time.
If friends ask to borrow, it depends on who and how much. I have a limit to how many times I've lend out money without being paid back. I don't think anyone has asked me to give them money. I've lend about 1000 dollars to a friend once, he didn't ask, but he hadn't gotten payed on time for two months, and needed to take a loan to handle the bills - so I thought it was better to borrow from me than having to pay interests back to a bank too.

Depends what they need it for, whether I feel they're being honest or not, how close I am to them, and my own financial situation. Unless they were family or really close friends, I probably wouldn't.
My best friend, who, despite the hell I've had this past year and two thirds, she's been there for me and kept me from committing suicide. And now, after my surgery, my life has improved in ways I couldn't imagine during my darkest days. So she is, quite literally, my hero.
