The idea that I need sex to have a healthy, intimate, romantic relationship. Truth is, my partners need sex for that. I'm perfectly happy without. But then my happiness depends on their happiness to an extent so... big bad loop.

Funny you should ask. I realised today that I was affected by a comment made online about 5 years ago (not on PF I hasten to add), that has affected me more deeply than I ever realised. I'm thinking of posting about it in the adult section sometime because it's a bit personal. It is DEFINITELY time I let go of my hang-ups over a stupid comment, by someone who didn't know me or my circumstances, and was just out to be nasty to anyone they saw as an easy target...

My stuffed animal. It's a horse and it's over 20 years old. I love it and I just can't let it go.

Yea. Anger towards my mother for not accepting me for me. Nothing to do about it, no use in caring what she thinks. But it's hard to let that go.

Too much stuff.

Everyone else has all this emotional stuff, I feel shallow...but mine is physical stuff. Its the time of year where we need to purge the accumulated stuff and take it to one of the donation thrift stores.

I said and did some careless things a few years back and ended up alienating myself from the local pagan scene. I still have friends there, but I know I'll also rub shoulders with the people I fell out with and they make me feel really uncomfortable. They're not blameness, especially as to make things worse, there have been things said about me that aren't true by my ex's girlfriend who had mental health problems and was sorta harassing me, texting me constantly with things like 'you can have him back.. he still loves you.. I'll never be as good as you...' when I was the one who left HIM. I ended up being pretty nasty to both of them to make them go away. I've no idea what she's said about me so can't defend myself against the rumours. I'm not blameless either though. I stopped speaking to some friends over something they did while drunk, and stupidly told others what they'd done, when what I should have done was spoken to them about how they'd made me feel.

Lessons learnt, but I'm so sad things had to end like this, with half the pagan scene thinking I'm a she-devil.

Yes to both. The latter ruined a friendship (because it was someone pretending to be my best friend).

What have you done that you are not proud of?

I think I am more embarrassed by behavior then anything. I am quite prideful and knowing I let someone play me like a fool always gets to me but I also learned a lot about myself. So I guess I'll take my shame with my lesson learned.

Never did prank calls. When I was a kid my classmates liked teasing me. Until my mom answered the phone sounding quite strict and saying "police, how may I help you?". Gave them a scare.
