I just remembered I have a wordpress account. I've been reading through old blog posts (on honestly a dozen half started blogsite attempts) ...it's weird. I used to care that much about the world? I can barely remember that.

Been having issues with being fatigued lately. Went to the doctor and she had a lot of labs done for me. So hopefully we will be able to finally find out what is going on with me. Also, tattoo is coming up next week and she said I can stop my Xarelto a few days before as long as I start it back on the day I have my tattoo. Can't wait for next week.

There are apparently some very entertaining services available via Microsoft.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

                  Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Got my first tattoo today. It's of an ankh and the color is mainly blue. It is so beautiful. The tattoo artist did such a great job.

I'm thinking about how humans have to work around their own humanity in order to please a system that is, oddly enough, designed by humans yet lacking in humanity itself. I hope you feel better, volcaniclastic.

A couple of weeks ago we had the coldest weather at that time of the year in like... 50 years I think. A week ago it was snowing. Today is the warmest weather we've had this early in the year in about 50 years... what is up with this weather? I mean. I'm not complaining about this. It's nice to be able to sit outside without a jacket.

I'm getting excited for PSG this year. I'm presenting a couple workshops so that's exciting... I just have to stay on top of the prep work.

I'm also looking into starting a Free Forest School group. I'd really like to get outside with folks more.
We are what we are. Nothing more, nothing less. There is good and evil among every kind of people. It's the evil among us who rule now. -Anne Bishop, Daughter of the Blood

I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.
