We don't have pit bulls here but this is really common in staffies and amstaffs. It's to do with their abnormal conformation but doesn't normally cause problems. Sometimes in young dogs it's an indicator that the prlvis isn't fused properly, or ofvyip dysplasia but normally those come witb other signs like lameness or weakness ir wobbly walking.
