So yeah, my mom noticed she was considerably weak and got tired relatively fast this past few months, so she went to the doctor who made her take some tests and exams and they realized she had a lot of her aorta calcified and with damaged valves, as well as two heart valves that were also damaged.
At the moment there are no dangerous risks as long as she takes it easy and doesn't do any physical effort, so the surgery is not urgent per se. She's going to contact her insurance company to see if she can get it done in a private clinic, otherwise she'll just take her issue to a hospital for free (but since she pays a private insurance it would be dumb not to use it duh).
There are no major complications associated with heart valve replacement but it is still an open-heart intervention, so there are at least the base risks linked to that.
I'd appreciate some good energies for her. Thanks guys.
