Grilled fresh salmon with dill weed and lemon, steamed Asparagus, Sourdough Rolls sliced with butter, garlic and Parmesan topping.
For desert; Strawberry parfait.
The best thing about dinner is that the dill, Asparagus, garlic and strawberries came from our little garden. The rolls are made by me from last years wheat kernels.

I sliced some strawberries (they are on sale for .97 cents a basket! OMG!) and sprinkled them with Splenda. Then I let them sit in the fridge getting juicy for an hour. Put them in a bowl and tossed them with frozen cool whip. It's like a Diabetic version of ice cream and strawberries. Sooo good.
I have 2 legs of lamb marinating in Julia Child's Gigot a la Moutarde, and tomorrow will roast to a medium rare and serve with a orange garlic glaze and and a roasted brussel sprout and butternut squash salad with pecans and cranberries for our Mabon ritual. I have spent weeks searching for a recipe that I liked and finally I just said screw it and busted out my "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" to see what Julia had and loved it.

Of course- everyone posts in this thread while I'm fasting lol. All I'm drinking is the newfound realization how much food is a part of my culture, and how every activity involves eating, even when no one's hungry.
