    Re: New Year's Resolutions

I just made one this year: Finish more of the projects I start. I have too many half-finished clothes in my sewing cupboard, too many half-finished poems and short stories, too many half-finished set lists....time to get cracking. I started making lists of all the projects I have on the go and I'll prioritize what I want to finish each week. I decided I can start new things (when you're artistic and you get an idea, you don't really want to let that go), but I have to work on the half-finished stuff as well

      Re: New Year's Resolutions

      I have another one.

Apologize every time I am wrong. I am more than I care to admit, but I think if I start to apologize and take responsibility for it I will do it less often.

You are talented. You really need to stick to this resolution. FW you will succeed where many have failed you just need to continue to do it.

Totally keep it...I gave up singing a few years ago and it was seriously the worst thing I ever did.

                      Re: New Year's Resolutions

I don't really like to call them resolutions, myself. I just call them goals. Calling it a "goal" kind of sets it in my brain a little better. Here's mine:

                      1) Eat less carbs. I kind of crashed off of my paleo diet a while back, and my eating habits got really trashy over the last 2 months or so.
                      2) By March, I want to be at 300lbs on at least one lift.
                      3) By the end of the year, I want to be at 450lbs on at least one lift.
                      4) By the summer, I want to be part of a Muay Thai gym.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others."
                      -Thomas Jefferson

Let a man never stir on his road a step
                      without his weapons of war;
for unsure is the knowing when the need shall arise
of a spear on the way without.

                        Re: New Year's Resolutions

I forgot one: Finish things that I start. One of my biggest problems. I start things all the time with the best of intentions, but don't follow through.
