Hobby Of The Week: ZENDALAS!

You know. Those fun addicting circles with a multitude of patterns inside of them? They are relaxing simply because it's the process that's enjoyable. And no one really cares for the outcome. It's a doodle and it takes your mind away. Even if for just 20 minutes.

Skill level needed? Nada! Just a pen or marker. Draw a circle. Then fill it in with patterns. Do as big as you want. As small as you want. As many as you want. If you have kids, have them do some with you. Then post them throughout the week so we can all ooh and ahh at them. You can post one or many. It's all up to you.

Also known as Zentangles. Those are done on squares. I'll see if I can get one done this week

Oh dear.

I just did my zendala (on a hotel paper pad with a hotel biro) only to discover that I have no way of transferring the photo onto the computer.

Alas and alack.

So hubby had the brilliant idea of taking a photo with my smart phone and emailing it to myself.

I'm so used to hand-drawing stuff that I didn't even think about getting up to find something until I'd already started. lol

So my zendala turned into a zentangle. And on that note, note to self: Don't make a hobby where you have to use your eyesight. I'm surprised I could see a dang thing. But it was fun. So here it is!
