When I was first learning about the occult and the dark arts, I learned under an elderly lady Ms Teresita. She was a practitioner of Santeria. I found the idea of using my darker self to really get some stuff done.
And..Islam. I tried reverting for a good year. I found the logic and the women's rights quite enticing (read it people. It ain't like you think until you read it!)I loved the idea of Islam being incorporated into every part of your life. Not just a Sunday sort of thing. The only thing keeping me from reverting in the end was the fact I do not believe in deity of any kind.
