    Quality spiritual necklaces

Hi guys, so truthfully, I haven't been wearing a Pentagram or Pentacle or really any sort of pagan spirituality necklace for a long while because I just can't seem to find any that aren't those poorly made, mass-produced ones that break in a month. I personally don't think I really NEED one or anything. Just because I don't have a pentacle doesn't make me any less of a Wiccan or Pagan in my belief. I just feel like I kind of want one so if anyone knows a good site or some place they personally know of that sells quality pentacles in a metal that won't rust of tarnish. I live in New England if that helps at all. I'm not in a rush or anything, just wondering if anyone has any store ideas or webstore ideas.

Side note: Don't recommend Salem, lol, I've been to Salem. They don't have that much that stands the test of time.

Also I hope this was the right place to post this, sorry in advance, I didn't know where else to put it.

I just settled for an inexpensive one on a black cord. I bought it to charge it with a protection spell. The necklace has lasted me for months and still holding, and I never take it off. I don't remember where I bought it from, but sometimes an inexpensive one will last.

Mine's lasted me just about a decade so far (although I haven't worn it regularly for the past 5 years or so). It's still in good shape. I forget where I picked it up, some online vendor out in the UK.
But, it is made of higher quality materials (sterling silver) so that is probably what to look for if you're looking for longevity.

        For jewelry, I use Etsy.

Not pagan-specific shopping, although you can find quite a few that cater to various pagan interests. You can have as high-quality or low-quality as you like. For varying prices.

Given the lack of pagan shops anywhere near my place, I've come to rely heavily on Etsy and Amazon for any supplies I'm looking for.

If money is of no issue, Bloodmilk Jewelry makes a solid silver one that I'm dying to own.

I'd echo Ljubezen's advice and see if you can get one from the UK. Mine is smaller than most of the ones I think you're talking about (made from tin or other cheap metal and usually sold on a chord like a shoelace). It's sterling silver, came on a fine silver chain (but I lost that after using it to wear something else on, so I use a cheap chain now), and I've had it for over 10 years. My sister bought me it from a regular jewellers. There was a 2 year period when I didn't wear it, but other than that, it rarely comes off. I even sleep and bathe with it on.

The only thing i'd really comment on is first figure out why you want to wear one and how bad you want to wear it. Yet the WHY being the main part of that question. If only because other's are wearing a certain type or some book says so or suggests so then that to answers your question. Then let that be a gauge in deciding what type and how much your willing to spend.

Myself I wear no pagan / occultist jewelry of any sort, yet if I was so inclined the cost i'd pay would be equal to the desire I have to wear it. Little desire, little cost, great desire then pay a greater cost to obtain the item. Of course that is just me so others may view it differently.

Yeah but the price is always based upon worth and need. If truly desired then longevity seconds to need and both surrender to price. The time it is going to last really means nothing in the long run. You might buy it today and loose it tomorrow and / or find the need was never really there to begin with. Which all goes back to why you want a particular item and what need it will fulfill.

You're turning this into some spiritual soul-searching thing. It's really not.

Sometimes it is kind of stuff comes to you...The pent ring I wear that has an oraboros for the circle and a moon stone in the center of the star was kind of a random gift from a friend. I have had it and wear it all the time, seldom take it off. Have had it well over 25 years... It is sterling silver BTW

Looks a bit like this, but not exact.

Interesting note, the person that gifted the ring to me said when she saw the ring,a voice in her head told her it was for me..I have lost touch with her,and have no idea where she found the ring.

Truthfully no i'm not. I just asked why do you need it or desire it. Lets face it if it's vanity then it's vanity, if it's spiritual need then that's the reason, if it's aping others then it's aping others.

Just my opinion but I find many pagan's, especially young ones, need the jewelry because it's what they needed as Christians. Many had a cross, a St. Anthony, etc hung about their neck and need to keep that going. So they go looking for some pagan equalivent to place about their neck, upon their finger, etc. The so called religious lucky charm.

Not good, not bad simply understanding the why. Myself I don't wear it because jewelry of that sort is one of the things you never seem to find in any votive type of offering nor do you tend to find jewelry that depicted some divine figure in the archaic records. Lots of statuary, pottery, etc maybe even amulets and such during periods when jewelry was fairly easy to obtain. SO to me it suggestive of answering the WHY of wearing something.

I don't wear much explicitly Pagan stuff, but I get my jewelery here: https://www.shopbejeweled.com/#!home

its a local store, but they have an online shop as well (which is good for when we move)

I recommend etsy as well. That is where I get pretty much everything. It is easy to see if what you are getting g is quality and usually they try pretty hard to make nice products because the shops are in by small businesses owners.

                              Problem with Etsy is this:

                              A) their business model allows Chinese slave labor to qualify as "independent studio" work.

                              And

                              B) they are self righteous and prissy about "politically correct" art. Blatant exploitive porn doesn't raise a flag, but use a non-PC material, like mastodon ivory, and you get the spit kicked out of you...

Use your own ethics, but be advised.
